Golf Tournament Charlottesville

On Monday, June 3rd the Shelter for Help in Emergency will be hosting a Golf Tournament at Glenmore Country Club, located at 1750 Piper Way, Keswick, VA 22947. The tournament will be a Captain’s Choice Shotgun beginning at 1pm, with registration opening at 11:30am.

Box lunch and complimentary beverages will be provided on the course. Following the tournament, guests are invited to stay for the awards ceremony, where dinner and drinks will be provided.

Golf Tournament Wine Pull

Wine Pull Donations

Following the Golf Tournament, guests are invited to stay for a dinner and awards ceremony, where they will have the option to purchase a numbered cork for $25. Donated bottles of wine will also be numbered to match the corks. Guests will find their winning bottle of wine by matching their purchased cork with its corresponding numbered bottle. Proceeds benefit the Shelter for Help in Emergency.

Please consider donating a bottle of red, white, or sparkling wine! All donations must have a minimum retail value of $25 and be received by May 20, 2019. Please complete the donation form and include it with your donation.

About the Shelter for Help in Emergency

Since 1979, the Shelter for Help in Emergency has worked to support and empower victims of domestic/intimate partner violence through a combination of trauma-informed residential and community-based outreach services, including a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, safety planning, information and referral, resource assistance, legal advocacy and court accompaniment, supportive counseling, outreach to the Spanish-speaking community, and programs for youth and children.
