This year, we are expanding one of our favorite giving traditions beyond Mother’s Day to make it easier than ever to honor the people you love while supporting survivors in our community.

Through our Donate to Celebrate program, you can make a gift in honor of a special person in your life whether for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, a birthday, anniversary, or any meaningful occasion and the Shelter will send a personalized card, with your special message letting your honoree know that a donation has been made in their name

This campaign began as a Mother’s Day tradition because many of the adults who come to the Shelter are mothers seeking safety for themselves and their children. But abuse affects people of all genders and all kinds of families, and so does healing. That’s why we’re excited to grow this program into a year-round opportunity to celebrate loved ones with a gift that truly matters.
